Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D. is
an internationally recognized leader and innovator in
the area of holistic health, pain management and the role
of spirit in healing. A neurosurgeon and psychiatrist,
Dr. Shealy is also the founding president of The American
Holistic Medical Association. He is the president of Holos
University Graduate Seminary. Dr. Shealy founded The Shealy
Institute, the first holistic pain and stress management
clinic in the U.S. He has published over 300 articles
and 24 books, including Life Beyond 100 -- Secrets
of the Fountain of Youth. Being released in 2008 are
a book Pony Wisdom for the Soul and a movie on
the benefits of integrative medicine Medical Renaissance
-- The Secret Code.

Gladys
T. McGarey, M.D., M.D. (H) is
internationally known for her pioneering work in holistic
medicine, natural birthing and the physician-patient partnership.
She is a founding member and former president of the American
Holistic Medical Association. Born and raised in India
to American medical missionaries, she received her M.D.
from Women's Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. She
co-founded the A.R.E. Clinic in Phoenix, AZ after becoming
involved with the Edgar Cayce material. She is the mother
of six children and has authored numerous articles and
books including Born to Live and The Physician
Within You. She has just completed her latest book,
Living Medicine, due out later this year. Her
eldest daughter, the late Analea McGarey, wrote Born
to Heal a compelling life story of Dr. Gladys Taylor
McGarey.

Istvan
Fazekas has been an A.R.E.
Region Speaker since the early 1990s and a teacher since
1986. His book, The Alkalizing Diet: Your Life is in
the Balance, was published by A.R.E. Press in June
2005. A forthcoming book from A.R.E. Press is on the mystical
yoga tradition and the Cayce readings. He served on the
focus group for the book Still Here by counterculture
icon Ram Dass (Dr. Richard Alpert), and has studied with
Asian teachers for over eighteen years. Istvan has taught
health sciences at numerous vocational colleges and institutes
and continues to lead workshops and seminars nationally
on the Cayce readings, spirituality and holistic living.
Istvan is known for his dynamic and thought-provoking
seminars, melding Christian mysticism with Asian spiritual
traditions, somatic science with energetic principles.
